A recent article in Times Higher Education reports efforts in the UK to support students from Syria. "The British Council and Universities UK are negotiating with institutions currently training students who are part of the Syrian ministry’s Higher Education Capacity Building Project to see whether the universities will waive or defer the payment of fees."
