Apply to the Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program

Application Deadline: September 17, 2012

Fulbright Scholar opportunities for faculty members, administrators, and professionals exist all around the globe. The Fulbright Scholar program offers teaching, research, or combined teaching/research awards. While the deadline to apply for many Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program Core awards for 2013-2014 has passed, a small number of awards are open to new applicants until September 17, 2012. You can search for the open awards by visiting the online Catalog of Awards. In addition, helpful resources are available at www.cies.org/us_scholars/us_awards/.

The Fulbright Program, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, is the U.S. government’s flagship international exchange program and is supported by the people of the United States and partner countries around the world. For more information, visit fulbright.state.gov. The Fulbright Scholar Program is administered by CIES, a division of the Institute of International Education.

For more information, program updates, and special features, read the new Fulbright Scholar Blog; follow the Fulbright Scholar Program on Twitter, Facebook, and Google+; or participate in the program's  webinars.
