OECD International Conference: Internationalization for Job Creation and Economic Growth

April 12-13, 2012
The SUNY Global Center
New York, NY

In keeping with this year’s strategic planning focus on leveraging the power of "systemness" across functional areas of the six big ideas, SUNY Global and the Nelson A. Rockefeller Institute of Government at the University at Albany will be working with the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) to promote discussion of innovation and job creation through the internationalization of higher education at the system level.

SUNY Global, Rockefeller Institute, and OECD will organize a Conference on Internationalization for Job Creation and Economic Growth: Increasing Coherence of Government and System Policies at a Time of Global Crisis. Discussions will focus on the key role multiple actors play together in tackling the effects of the global financial crisis and fostering recovery policies, especially job creation, innovation, and wealth generation. This event will take place at the SUNY Global Center on April 12-13, 2012.
