IIE Staff in New Orleans in March

Keep an eye out for IIE Staff visiting the "Big Easy" for the Diversity Abroad and the Forum’s annual conferences. 

Lindsay Calvert, Director of the Gilman International Scholarship Program, will present on scholarships for underrepresented students and strategies for creating access. Lee Rivers, Assistant Manager for the Fulbright Program, will present on creating partnerships for advising. 

IIE Staff, including Randi Bulter, Jody Dudderar, Lisa Mayorga, Wagaye Johannes and Lora Seery will also be holding a workshop on IIE administered scholarships at Tulane’s School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. This advisor workshop will discuss scholarship programs administered by IIE and provide program overviews and advising tips for grants including the U.S. Department of State's Gilman Scholarship and Fulbright Student and Scholars Programs, IIE’s Generation Study Abroad and the National Security Education Program's Boren Awards. Register by March 16.
