Forget A Perfect SAT—What Colleges Really Want Are International Students

Schools in the United States are courting a record number of international undergraduate students. According to Kim Bellware’s article in the Huffington Post, the reasons are both monetary and cultural. "While the courting of international students by American colleges may seem purely transactional to some, experts say the motivations go beyond money," writes Bellware, whose article discusses school priorities amidst declining budgets.
