Grant Competitions from U.S. Department of Education

The International and Foreign Language Education (IFLE) office of the U.S. Department of Education has announced the following grant program competitions:

• National Resource Centers Program: The National Resource Centers (NRC) competition provides grants to establish, strengthen, and operate language and area or international studies centers that will be national resources for teaching any modern foreign language.
• Foreign Language and Area Studies Fellowships Program: The Foreign Language and Area Studies Fellowships (FLAS) competition allocates academic year and summer fellowships to institutions of higher education and consortia of institutions of higher education to assist meritorious undergraduate and graduate students undergoing training in modern foreign languages and related area or international studies.
