Tatiana Mackliff, IIE Director of the Fulbright Teacher Exchange Programs Division, writes in IIE’s Blog about a recently-released interactive online mapping tool called Mapping the Nation: Linking Local to Global. This map, Mackliff argues, confirms the importance of global competency among U.S. students and the important role educators play in this process.
