IIE Blog: Developing International Relations Offices in Myanmar

Last week, Daniel Obst, IIE’s Deputy Vice President of International Partnerships went to Myanmar to lay the groundwork for launching a new IIE training course. The course will train ministry officials and university representatives in Myanmar on how to create and manage an effective international education office. In a recent IIE Blog post, Obst shares about his meetings with key administrators and faculty members from 14 universities across Myanmar, "We are currently identifying qualified and enthusiastic professionals from the international higher education community to serve as mentors and to provide ongoing feedback and assessment for participants."
