Gilman Scholarship Program Online Application System Now Open

The Gilman International Scholarship Program is happy to announce that the online application system is now open for students participating in study abroad programs during the Summer 2013, Fall 2013 and 2013-2014 Academic Year. 

The Gilman Scholarship Program offers awards for undergraduate study abroad and was established by the International Academic Opportunity Act of 2000. The Gilman Program is sponsored by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs at the U.S. Department of State and administered by IIE in the Houston office. This scholarship provides awards for U.S. undergraduate students who are receiving Federal Pell Grant funding at a two-year or four-year college or university to participate in study abroad programs worldwide.  The program aims to diversify the kinds of students who study abroad and the countries and regions where they go.
