January 25-27, 2013

The Global Issues Network Conference (GIN) was created for university students by university students, with 150 of the best and brightest undergraduates attending from around the world. These delegates will focus on five issues - Energy, Technology, Waste Management, Education and Health - with the aim of creating Sustainable Action Plans that will be presented to the Government of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi through the relevant channels.

The three-day conference includes prominent keynote speakers, iPlan projects that will allow delegates to gain a better understanding of the city of Abu Dhabi, and the chance for students to meet and interact with some of their most distinguished peers from universities the world over. The goal of the conference is to find solutions to global issues within the context of the city, one of PricewaterhouseCoopers' Cities of Opportunities 2012.

GIN 2013 is currently accepting delegate applications online: www.nyuad.nyu.edu/gin2013. For more information, please contact gin2013@nyu.edu
