2-3 PM EDT

The Institute of International Education is pleased to invite IIENetwork members to a special webinar focusing on the Brazil Science Without Borders Undergraduate Program. The webinar will be hosted by Ed Monks, director of the program at IIE. During this session, Monks will speak briefly about the program and address some frequently asked questions posed by U.S. host institutions. There will also be ample opportunity to ask questions.

The program provides scholarships to undergraduate students from Brazil for one year of study at colleges and universities in the United States. Scholarships will be given primarily to students in the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields. Students in the program will return to Brazil to complete their degrees. This program, administered by IIE, is part of the Brazilian government's larger initiative to grant 100,000 scholarships to the best students from Brazil to study abroad at the world’s best universities.

Participation in this special webinar is on a first-come, first-served basis, as IIE can accommodate only the first 100 participants. If you have multiple representatives from your institution who would like to participate, we would ask that you try to coordinate on campus so that you utilize only one webinar space. This session will be recorded and posted on IIE’s website for future reference.
