Apply for the Freeman-ASIA Summer 2012 Awards

Adviser Endorsement Deadline: February 22, 2012

Freeman-ASIA provides scholarships for U.S. undergraduate students with demonstrated financial need to study abroad in East or Southeast Asia. Applicants should have a minimum 2.8 GPA. The program's goal is to increase the number of Americans with firsthand exposure to and understanding of Asia and its peoples and cultures. Awards of up to $3,000 are available for summer programs.

The online application for fall 2012 and academic year 2012-13 programs will open on February 22, 2012. Award amounts range from a maximum of $5,000 for a semester/quarter program to a maximum of $7,000 for an academic year program.
