Article: Number of Singaporeans Studying in U.S. at 10-Year High

An article in AsiaOne News noted that more than 4,300 Singaporeans studied in the United States last year, which was the highest figure in 10 years. According to statistics by the Institute of International Education, this represented a seven percent increase from the previous year. "About half of those studying in the US are undergraduates, while close to 40 per cent are doing their post-graduate studies. The remainder are those on exchange programs or professional courses."
