New Article: Branch Campuses—Shifting Center of Gravity

An article in Times Higher Education notes that the "number of overseas branch campuses set up by universities has reached 200, with another 37 planned, as activity shifts from the Gulf region to Asia." These numbers are based on a recent report from the Observatory on Borderless Higher Education entitled "International Branch Campuses: Data and Development." The report found that British universities are leading the growth of branch campuses, "nearly doubling their number of outposts in the past two years to 25."
