RFA for University Partnerships in Tunisia: Improving Higher Education and Workforce Development Programs

Higher Education for Development (HED) anticipates making two (2) awards of up to $500,000 each for three-year higher education partnerships. The first award will be for a partnership with the Institut Supérieur des Etudes Technologiques de Sidi Bouzid (ISET Sidi Bouzid). The second award will be for a partnership with the Institut Supérieur des Etudes Technologiques de Médenine (ISET Médenine) and the Institut Supérieur des Etudes Technologiques de Tataouine (ISET Tataouine). The two partnerships will focus on improving higher education and workforce development programs at these Tunisian institutions to produce a workforce with the relevant skills to support the country's development goals.

Online Information Session

HED is organizing an information session on December 6, 2011, with representatives from the three ISETs, the U.S. Department of State, and the U.S. Agency for International Development to discuss this RFA. Applicants are asked to register for the information session no later than December 1, 2011, by sending an email with questions about this RFA to Curtis Hudson at chudson@hedprogram.org. Interested applicants also will have an opportunity to submit their questions during the information session.
