British Council Going Global Conference: Proposal Deadline

March 13-15, 2012
The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre, London

Deadline for Submitting Proposals: September 16, 2011, at 17:00 BST.

The proposition of the Going Global 2012 conference is that education has the ability to shape and connect the lives of people around the world. But doing this would require us to radically rethink the nature of our universities and colleges. Just how radical must that vision be? Are traditional institutions equipped to create this new reality or does it call for freer and more dynamic thinking? How can we move from vision to reality?

The conference will focus on three key themes: the future world, the connected world, and winners and losers. The British Council welcomes proposals from around the world for the conference. The deadline for submitting a proposal is: Friday, September 16, 2011, at 17:00 BST.
