Article: College Student's Guide to Going to School Outside of U.S.

An article in FoxBusiness.com reports that beyond the more than 260,000 students who studied abroad for academic credit at a U.S. college or university, more than 40,000 American students enrolled in higher education institutions outside of the U.S. for full degree programs. These numbers come from a report that will be issued by the Institute of International Education later this summer. Discussing the factors that U.S. students should keep in mind while pursuing a degree abroad, Dr. Allan E. Goodman, the President and CEO of IIE, recommended that students educate themselves about the countries in which they would like to study, and talk with individuals who have completed degrees abroad.
