On July 18, the IIE Washington forum hosted a workshop for the Clinton Foundation’s CHARGE - Collaborative for Harnessing Ambition and Resources for Girls’ Education initiative. The workshop was hosted as part of IIE’s commitment to CHARGE, along with the Higher Education Readiness pilot for girls in Ethiopia, which was evaluated earlier this year. The all-day workshop, "Monitoring & Evaluation of Girls’ Education & Life Skills Curriculum: Successes, Challenges and Lessons Learned," drew researchers, advocates, and practitioners from the Clinton Foundation, Brookings Institution, Millennium Challenge Corporation, BRAC, Discovery Learning Alliance, Komera, UNICEF, Room to Read, CARE USA, and the Center for Universal Education.
