Making the Concept of Study Abroad Less Foreign to U.S. Students and Faculty

In the recent IIENetworker magazine, George Mason University President Ángel Cabrera emphasizes the important role faculty plays in encouraging students to seek international educational experiences. Listing ways that faculty can better convey the true value of an international education, Cabrera also calls on university leaders to provide support and reassurance to faculty, so that all levels "share the strategic goal of cultivating the global mindset of students."
