SIU Partnership Program with North America Application Deadlines

The Norwegian Centre for International Cooperation in Education (SIU) partnership program for North America supports cooperation between Norway, USA and Canada, to develop an institutionally anchored partnership of high quality. Central objectives are increased cooperation, increased links between research and education, increased collaboration with industry/work life and increased student mobility. The current call for applications supports long-term and short-term projects, aimed at creating cooperation well beyond the project period. Cooperation with enterprises in the public and private sector are encouraged, and a minimum of half the funding will be given to projects that have this link.

     •  Long term projects can be supported by up to 2 million Norwegian Kroner over a 4 year period. Overall frame for this

        measure is 24 MNOK. Application deadline: May 31, 2016

     •  Short term projects can be supported by up to 300 thousands Norwegian Kroner over a period of 2 year. Overall

        frame for this measure is 1.7 MNOK. Application deadline: October 17, 2016
