An Interview with Priscilla Slade, Jackson State University

In the recent IIENetworker magazine, IIE interviews Priscilla Slade about Jackson State’s bold pledge to triple the number of its students going abroad by 2020. To reach their goal JSU, a predominantly African-American university, created a short-term, faculty-led program involving all six schools in the university. "Faculty traveled with students and taught the courses abroad," said Slade. "As a result, many students could afford the program."
