Zips Car Wash is expanding its territory with the acquisition of Rain Tunnel Express Car Wash. For the first time, Sips will serve customers in Missouri and Illinois. The acquisition of Rain Tunnel's seven stores took place on Tuesday, August 21, 2018, and those sites are now operating as Zips Car Wash locations.
Brown Bear Car Wash celebrated its 61st anniversary Aug. 23 with a record-breaking 32,789 free washes at 26 tunnel wash locations across the Puget Sound area. The total surpasses the previous one-day record of 30,853 set in 2017.
