U.S. travelers will hit the roads, rails and airports in record numbers this Fourth of July holiday, despite higher gasoline prices, the AAA said on Thursday. Some 46.9 million Americans will travel at least 50 miles over the upcoming July Fourth holiday, the fifth consecutive annual increase and highest travel volume since the group began tracking data 18 years ago.

Arizona-based Mister Car Wash announced recently that it has expanded its Albuquerque footprint by acquiring four Clean Machine Car Wash locations in Albuquerque. With this new acquisition, Mister Car Wash will have 11 locations in the Albuquerque market, comprised of six full-service and five express stores.

Classic Auto Group is proposing a 4,691-square-foot, "state-of-the-art" car wash and vacuum stations on about 2 acres in Mentor, Ohio. The town's planning commission has approved a conditional-use permit and preliminary site plan for the location, which will be for public as well as the company’s use.
