A ruling last month stated that all car washes in New York City need to get licensed and bonded to comply with the Car Wash Accountability Act, a law passed in 2015 by the City Council. Now that the law has been revised, the Department of Consumer Affairs has begun accepting applications for car wash licenses and will begin enforcement in December.
Jensen Motors has broken ground on a new car wash near their dealership in New Ulm, Minn. Plans include a state-of-the-art tunnel-style car wash, with capacity to wash 60 cars per hour. The tunnel is 95 feet long and contains special neo-tech foam material to clean the car without scratching it.
