Indianapolis-based Crew Carwash has opened its first location in Bloomington. The $5 million facility is the company's 29th location. The Bloomington location was announced last year, along with a location in Merrillville that has already opened. Construction is underway on a Crew Carwash in Avon as well.

Local residents will soon have another option to get their vehicles clean. Construction continues on a new car wash called Tidal Wave Auto Spa that set to open early summer on 1615 Benvenue Road next to the former Old Navy building by the Cobb Corners shopping center.

"It was going to be his," Jeff Guthrie said, while taking a short break in the offices of the car wash along Viking Drive. "Together, we picked everything out."

Marketers continue to use direct mail in 2016 because it still leads in ROI. However, traditional direct mail marketing has changed dramatically. InfoTrends did a study on direct mail that found the following statistics: 66% of direct mail is opened, 82% of direct mail is read for a minute or more, 56% of consumers who responded to direct mail went online or visited the physical store, 62% of consumers who responded to direct mail in the past three months made a purchase, and over 84% reported that personalization made them more likely to open a direct mail piece.
