With progressing technology, autonomous vehicles are able to differentiate between dangerous obstacles and non-threatening objects much more easily and accurately than they used to. Think of it as the Internet of Wet Things. Picture this: You drive your super-duper new high-tech car into a car wash to get your super-duper high-tech car cleaned. But seconds later, as your poor wired-up vehicle is confronted with spinning brushes, dangling air hoses and swinging pieces of heavy metal, that vehicle of yours panics, confusing the brushes with a real threat, and setting off alarms or, worse, applying the brakes when that’s not necessarily what you want it to do at that moment.

That brought Manteca’s number of car washes to 13.

Leadership

Companies are always looking for the best ways to assess the potential of employees. Managers want to understand how their teams contribute to the organization, and they want to identify high performers and potential leaders along the way. Many know and use the nine-box model, for example, to map past performance against future leadership potential. The people the model identifies as those with the most promise are often the ones a company will invest in through additional training and talent development programs.

Where are we ordering takeout from? What new series are we going to binge watch tonight? Everything in life is a negotiation. Sometimes, as in the aforementioned examples, the stakes are quite low.
