The Early Chamber of Commerce recognizes Baird Brother’s Car Wash as their July Business Spotlight of the Month. Baird Brother’s Car Wash in Early recently added two new features to improve the car wash experience. They now have towel dry with all washes and hand wheel and tire detail with the Ultimate Car Wash.

An Aloha Car Wash is being built next to the shopping center on Dawsonville Highway that includes Best Buy, and construction is scheduled to be finished in October, Gainesville Planning Manager Matt Tate said. Stephen Keys, owner of Pro Construction of Georgia, said equipment will come in for the car wash in time for a likely November opening.

The developers of a soon-to-be built commercial complex on Rte. 20 are seeking three special permits from the city to bring a car wash, veterinary hospital and a third drive-thru restaurant to the development.

On Monday, July 25, just days before being forced to move the Belmont Food Pantry from its current site at Belmont High School, Patricia Mihelich was still pondering where she would relocate two rooms full of canned and dry food.
