The Nominating Committee of International Carwash Association is now seeking recommendations for the positions of Operator Director and Vendor Director for a three-year term to begin January 1, 2017. The Board of Directors is comprised of 16 car wash professionals. The Board of Directors, which meets regularly throughout the year, sets the strategic direction for International Carwash Association.

I’m one of those people that really like my vehicle to be clean, which means my weekend chores often include washing my SUV. Since I’m on the shorter side, I have to drag out a step stool in order to reach the roof and my mid-section ends up wet, dirty and soapy from stretching to clean all the way to the middle. Needless to say, I sometimes use a commercial car wash rather than my own elbow grease.

A group of volunteers kicked off their holiday weekend today by raising money for members of the military and their families. It was the fourth annual Support Our Soldiers' Car Wash and Barbecue. The event was held at the Superior Express Care and Wash in Marquette.
