The money was raised August 22nd during the annual Crew for Kids fundraiser, where half the proceeds of every Ultimate wash, a $19 value, and Works wash, a $15 value, was donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters. The event took place at 24 Crew Carwash locations, supporting four different Big Brothers Big Sisters agencies, including those in Indianapolis, Columbus, Lafayette and Terre Haute.

The Wichita Eagle Green Lantern Car Wash is adding a third store in Wichita, though no one with the company is talking about it yet. A building permit has been filed on behalf of the business to build at 3323 N. Rock Road, which is just south of K-96 and Rock Road.
