HRMAM is now accepting nominations for the 2015-2016 Board of Directors. There are four seats available (one and two year terms) including an opening for the position of Treasurer. 

Board members are expected to: 

  • serve on a Board Committee or task force  
  • attend six to seven Board meetings annually in addition to a strategic planning session 
  • be properly prepared for Board deliberation and keep meetings confidential 
  • be a member of HRMAM in good standing

HRmatters is HRMAM's biannual magazine, providing our readers with information on leading HR practices, professional trends and industry updates. To make this happen, we rely on article submissions from our readers and those with specialized knowledge of the human resource industry. 

We are currently seeking submissions for our Fall 2015 issue. The theme of this issue centres around our annual conference, the Human Resource & Leadership Conference, which will be taking place on October 27 & 28. The theme of this year's conference, "Evolve/Involve," reflects the relationship between the evolution of organizations and the involvement of people. As workplaces increasingly strive to be relevant and meaningful for their customers, clients and stakeholders - involving people in decision making, problem solving and goal setting becomes more critical than ever before. Please keep this in mind when considering your submission and attempt to relate your content to this theme.

Articles published in HRmatters are eligible for CHRP Continuing Professional Development hours.
