Designed to showcase outstanding Human Resource achievements in Manitoba, HRMAM's Excellence in Leadership Awards honour employers and individuals who are leaders in diversity, development, impact and innovation.

The HRMAM Excellence in Leadership Awards includes two types of awards - Organizational Awards and Individual Awards. The Organizational Awards include eight categories which align with the key professional practices of Human Resource Professionals while the four individual awards are designed to recognize specific individuals for their unique contributions.

HRMAM encourages organizations and individuals to nominate themselves or others for an Excellence in Leadership Award by submitting an application to the HRMAM office. For more information on the application process and the awards, please click here.

The University of Winnipeg Professional, Applied and Continuing Education invites you to participate in an upcoming networking event for full-time Human Resource Management students - a Resumania. We believe that our students would value your experience and expertise in this industry and the insight you could bring this forum.

Resumania is based on the speed-mentoring concept. It will provide our students with the opportunity to meet one-on-one with recognized HR professionals and get feedback on their resumes. Students will move round-robin across 20 stations, where they will have 6 minutes with each professional. We will end the evening with a Mix & Mingle Hors d'Oeuvres networking hour.

Please consider the following information to determine your availability.

Details:
Date: Tuesday, December 10, 2013
Time: 5:30pm-7:30pm
Venue: 2M70 (2nd Floor, Manitoba Hall, Room 70, Main Campus)
Refreshments: Hors d'Oeuvres to follow

A small commitment of time will make a huge difference to our students. In a tight job market for new professionals, a strong resume can open doors which might otherwise be closed to new graduates. We hope to see you at this event.

If you are interested in participating, please contact Mekala Wickramasinghe at me.wickramasinghe@uwinnipeg.ca or phone 204-982-1143.
