Certified B Corps are leading a global movement to redefine success in business. By voluntarily meeting higher standards of transparency, accountability and performance, Certified B Corps are distinguishing themselves in a cluttered marketplace by offering a positive vision of a better way to do business.  

On November 13, 2013, HRMAM and Ian Martin Executive are hosting a discussion about this global movement. We will have a panel of business leaders who have made the journey in leading their own organizations and they will discuss why becoming a Certified B (Benefit) Corporation was key to guiding their companies to a new future and purpose.

The CCHRA (Canadian Council of Human Resources Association) is looking for volunteers for three (3) working groups which are being established to assist with the PPA implementations. These working groups are:

Here is your chance to participate in the CHRP certification process.

 Volunteers are required to participate in various panels (committees) involved in writing and reviewing items (questions), constructing the forms (exams), and scoring (key validation) for each administration of the NKE. For more information on these panels, please click here.

Board Committees
Board committees report directly to the Board of Directors.

Staff Committees
Staff committees are committees that are managed and report back to HRMAM staff.

In the news...

HR Tech Conference is the annual event for people involved in the technology of Human Resources. It marries software - which I love - with people, talent, human capital, which is another area I'm passionate about. I am impressed at the size and quality of this event, and thought I'd share a few thoughts here. Read more here.

 
I'm heading out to Las Vegas now for #HRTechConf. It's always a fascinating and elucidating experience, and a chance to catch up with friends, clients and colleagues and of course - the parties. Technology has been dominating the HR and Talent Management space for the past decade - with more "real serious widespread adoption" happening in the past year. Has it's application plateaued? Is HR finally taking a more active role in driving user adoption? Are there more exciting developments on the way that help to recruit, retain and engage your talent?
