CPHR Manitoba's HR Conference 2018: Join the HRevolution is returning on October 23 & 24, 2018, at the RBC Convention Centre Winnipeg with a networking reception, four keynote speakers and an exciting line-up of 17 breakout sessions, including Using Social Ergonomics to Get Better Results, facilitated by Alex Osborne, Human Resouces Consultant with Herman Miller:

Human Resource Professionals are responsible for the well-being of their organization's employees.  Wellness in the workplace is more important now than ever.  While ergonomics is traditionally thought of as a "physical" domain, our research shows the overlap between cognitive and social ergonomics to empower those in HR to make positive changes in their workplace and drive business goals.  HR needs to be at the table when discussing culture, space planning, and space design - having a solid understanding of the principals of social ergonomics will empower them to use the workplace as a strategic asset.
