For leaders and managers, dealing with issues related to mental health in the workplace can be challenging and difficult to navigate. It is essential that leadership has the capabilities to manage mental health because early identification and support can lead to continued productivity, retention of employees and overall satisfaction in the workplace.

Participants will discuss practical strategies for creating a more inclusive work environment and develop a plan to reduce stigma surrounding mental illness. The workshop also explores how to create appropriate processes to address the needs of both employees and employers.

Facilitated by Paul Carrick, MSW, RSW

DisruptHR Winnipeg

Are you a voice for change? A seasoned HR pro who is excited to share ideas and generate thought provoking conversation? Do you enjoy learning about new perspectives and sharing them with your peers?

If you answered yes, we want you!

On May 10, CPHR Manitoba is sponsoring the third annual DisruptHR Winnipeg event hosted by ADP. They are currently looking for influential leaders to present during this popular event.

DisruptHR is a grass roots event, designed to inform the HR community about disruptive trends and radical ideas happening in the industry. Successful events are hosted across North America every year and sellout fast.

Presenters are provided with five minutes to get their most important points across through a 20 slide presentation that switches every 15 seconds. This unique style enables the event to stand out; having multiple presenters with unique perspectives from a variety of industries.

The last two events have sold out quickly and received rave reviews - this year we are anticipating a larger and even more disruptive audience!

If you think you have what it takes to shake up the stage in Winnipeg this year, please fill out the following form here by March 23, 2018.

Once reviewed by the organizers, those who are selected will be contacted by email and confirmed by March 30, 2018. If you have any further questions please check out the event website at www.picatic.com/disruptywg3 for full details.

If you just want to be part of the mayhem without hitting the stage, early bird tickets are now on sale as well!
