The CHRP Experience Assessment is a formal step in earning the CHRP designation that requires candidates to demonstrate three or more years of professional level experience in Human Resources. 

This information session will give you the information you need to complete the Validation of Professional Experience (VPE). If you are just entering the field and planning to strive for the CHRP designation, attending an information session is also important to inform you of the experience that will be required to pass the VPE.

HRmatters is HRMAM's biannual magazine, providing our readers with information on leading HR practices, professional trends and industry updates. To make this happen, we rely on article submissions from our readers and those with specialized knowledge of the human resource industry. 

We are currently seeking article submissions for our Spring 2016 issue. The theme of this issue centres around 'Leadership at Work.' In the Fall of 2015 HRMAM began the conversation about promoting CHRPs (Certified Human Resource Professionals) as leaders in the workplace. We will continue this theme in the spring issue of HRmatters. HR demonstrated leadership everyday, in the creation of systems that allow individuals and teams to shine. HR professionals are leaders in ensuring the health and safety of people as they go about their daily work. They exemplify leadership in their ethical, professional dealings in sometimes challenging personal situations. They also help to create a culture of leadership in their workplaces through their actions and examples. Please keep this in mind when considering your submission and attempt to relate your content to this theme.

University of Winnipeg PACE invites you to the Resumania event for Human Resource Management students. Students graduating in July 2016 currently taking the resume building course are looking for you to be involved in this event as an industry professional.

 

The researchers analyzed 360-degree assessments of thousands of leaders in six C-suite functions—CEO, CFO, COO, CIO, CHRO, and CMO—in which each executive was ranked on 14 aspects of leadership on a scale from one to seven.
