Why do smart people fail? Why do technically brilliant individuals have trouble managing others and collaborating on a team? What they lack is a critical level of Emotional Intelligence (EI) and the ability to manage theirs and others emotions when they are under pressure.
Whether you are leading a team or want to increase your individual performance, the EI program will teach you the foundational principles and brain science of emotional intelligence. You will become a student of human behaviour: understanding what your brain does under pressure and how that affects your decision making and the impact you have on others.

In March 2014, HRMAM announced our 2014-2019 strategic plan which will guide the organization over the next five years. One of the core goals of this plan is to become self-regulated by 2019. But what does that mean? In an effort to help our members and the public understand self-regulation and what it may mean for HR professionals, we have set up a section on our website devoted to the topic of Self-Regulation.
At present, our goal is to educate members and the public as to what self-regulation is and start a dialogue with members as we travel the path towards self-regulation.

The HRMAM office will be closed for the holidays from 12:00pm on Friday, December 18, 2015 until Monday, January 4, 2016.
