Register Today!

The keynote and workshop will be based on Levin's book, Managing the Membership Experience.

"Using MembershipMapping(TM) to engage members and give them the experiences they want and value."

For more than 30 years, Mark Levin, CAE, CSP, has been helping organizations throughout the world grow and prosper. When Mark talks, or writes, about membership development or volunteer leadership, he speaks with the voice of experience.

Mark's years of experience in not-for-profit organizations include staff positions as a membership director, local chapter director and chief staff officer of three organizations. In addition, he's an active volunteer in several local, state, national and international societies.

Mark's reputation isn't just based on experience it's based on his talent, too. He served for more than 20 years on the faculty of the Institutes for Organization Management, a continuing education program sponsored by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Tens of thousands of volunteer and staff leaders have attended his programs worldwide, and they all can attest to his ability to present his topics in a unique, humorous and interactive style. Read his full bio here.

News Briefs
The culture consulting firm Culture That Works run by Maddie Grant (also editor of SocialFish.org) and Jamie Notter is now under the umbrella of their newly launched company, WorkXO. Their vision and mission:

We know that powerful cultures are achievable, and we are called to work with leaders who are ready to take a stand and create the future of work. Our Vision is to lead a (r)evolution in leadership and management that is based in the power of human community, the intricacies of thriving workforces, and authentic connections with today’s and tomorrow’s talent – all driven by the Workplace Genome™. Our mission is to upgrade work.

WorkXO adds in something really exciting to their existing culture change work and generational research: the Workplace Genome™ Project. Through this project, they are helping organizations "map their workplace genome." The Genome is a unique survey instrument that ties together all the research they have done over the last several years (including the impact of social media on management in Humanize, generational differences in When Millennials Take Over, and more), and it allows companies to get a clear and compelling picture of their own "genetic makeup" as an organization. WorkXO is also building a community for job seekers – so individual people can map their own experience as employees, and help WorkXO build truly authentic workplace profiles – which will be the key for an organization to attract the people who are best aligned with their culture. If you’re interested in learning more, please contact the principals here
