2016 conference update: Introducing GMIS MEETS

You may have noticed a change this year – the GMIS annual conference has been rebranded as GMIS MEETS, the Meeting Education and Expo for the Technology Sector. Same great content and networking opportunities, with a new recognizable brand from year to year!

The 2016 GMIS MEETS conference will return to lively Atlantic City, NJ, and planning is well underway. Keynote speaker Kirk Lippold, legendary commander of USS Cole and author of Front Burner, will share why his "Five Pillars of Leadership" are must-have business tenets for any team. Using a devastating suicide terrorist attack as a backdrop, Commander Lippold will convey how the principle of integrity created an environment for leadership where his crew felt imbued with a sense of ownership, seizing the opportunity to be responsible for their ship and not just their jobs. Sure to be a riveting and inspiring keynote!

As always, we’ll have top-notch peer and vendor-led presentations and break-out educational sessions focusing on management, technical and specialty training tracks. We look forward to sharing the full agenda soon.

Special thanks to our returning Diamond sponsor, SHI International, for their continued support of the annual conference and the GMIS organization as a whole. SHI will sponsor a fun beachside Monday evening event at Jimmy Buffet’s Landshark Bar & Grill, a guaranteed good time and excellent opportunity for networking with your public sector peers.

If you haven’t already, register todayand we’ll look forward to welcoming you to Atlantic City this summer!
