We are pleased to announce the creation of the John J. Murphy Scholarship. John Murphy was a long-standing member of the Food Shippers of America organization both as a food manufacturer and as the executive director. He spent more than 40 years in the transportation industry of which the last half was with The Borden Food Company where he retired in 1995. He then spent 14 years as the executive director of Food Shippers of America.

Canadian Pacific Railway (CP) pushed the Transportation industry higher today, making it today's featured transportation winner. The industry as a whole closed the day up 1%. By the end of trading, Canadian Pacific Railway rose 93 cents (1.5%) to $61.22 on light volume. Throughout the day, 845,715 shares of Canadian Pacific Railway exchanged hands as compared to its average daily volume of 1.7 million shares. The stock ranged in price between $60.79-$61.40 after having opened the day at $60.90 as compared to the previous trading day's close of $60.29.
