Raising the Bar to 250k As a member of the American Fence Association, you know the high priority we place on education. In 2003, AFA formed the AFA Education Foundation (AFAEF), a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, to bring educational opportunities into reach for people in the fence industry. Scholarships are given to highly deserving candidates enrolled in a college or trade school. These candidates are either employed in the fence, deck, and railing industry or the child of a current industry employee – these are OUR industry peers! Reaching a $250k benchmark enables greater impact on the students and families in our industry. It allows AFAEF to apply for matching funds from corporate and private foundations, including the Gates Foundation and many others. The Education Foundation is challenging chapters to give $5,000 and companies to give $1,000. See the companies who have contributed and MAKE YOUR DONATION:

November 6-11, 2016 Fort Worth, Texas Improve your skills and advance your career at AFA University this fall. AFA University offers a chance to demonstrate a higher level of understanding and professionalism within the fence and access control industry. AFA University's comprehensive schools and additional certification programs allow anyone to increase their knowledge of sales, design, installation and more.

To all AFA members:
If you have pictures or videos demonstrating what you and your crews do every day on the job, please email them to AFA. They will be posted to the association's Facebook page and rolled out via Twitter. Share with others the great work you do every day!
