Proposal sets out requirements for Source Protection Committees

The Ministry of the Environment of Ontario recently posted a notice that it intends to proceed with the proposal in O. Reg. 288/07 to set out the requirements for the size, appointment, and operation of source protection committees. The aim of the regulation is to retain the valuable knowledge and expertise of committee members and provide greater local autonomy to source protection authorities.
