2015 Study on the Participation of Small and Medium Enterprises in Federal Procuremen

Public Works and Government Services Canada's Office of Small and Medium Enterprises and Strategic Engagement (OSME-SE), more commonly known as OSME, is studying specific aspects of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and federal procurement. This study is being conducted as a follow up to the 2012 Study on Participation of Small and Medium Enterprises in Federal Procurement. Since the 2012 Study, OSME has made progress on the issues and concerns raised by SMEs and this study will serve as an opportunity to measure the impact of changes and services implemented since 2012. Furthermore, this study will serve to provide valuable information on the current procurement environment for SMEs and any new issues or challenges facing suppliers.

The 2015 SME Study will assess PWGSC’s progress on the concerns raised by SMEs and will measure the impact of changes and services that have been implemented since 2012. It is anticipated that your feedback will guide future enhancements to procurement.
