With only 5 weeks left to the popular 16th National Conference on Drinking Water we encourage everyone to register today as time and spots are filling up!

TOP FIVE REASONS TO ATTEND:

1. See the future of water treatment and management

With presentations from leading water researchers from across Canada, this Conference will give a glimpse of the new techniques, technologies and tools that are being developed and will undoubtedly be implemented in the future.

2. Awesome speakers – Jam packed program

We’ve got a fantastic line-up of speakers starting with our Opening Plenary  featuring water expert Larry Moore and Ralph Pentland, co-author of the recent book Down the Drain: How We are Failing to Protect Our Water Resources. In his book, Ralph challenges Canada’s water regulation and management. This interactive plenary session will explore what we, as water utility managers, operators, researchers and regulators, are doing to meet the emerging threats to water quality, security and supply – creating interesting dialogue that will both challenge and celebrate water professionals.

The rest of the Conference will be just as dynamic with a mix of academic presentations and sessions customized to appeal to utility managers. View the full agenda online.
3. Great networking

Meet and mingle with water professionals from all areas. Our unique delegate range – from academics to managers to regulators to private sector partners – provides amazing opportunities. You will come away with the experiences of real lessons learned, dozens of ideas, and innovative solutions that you and your team can use immediately.
4. Great venue, great location

The Hilton Lac Leamy is a fantastic venue, offering a resort setting in the heart of the National Capital Region. With a full service spa, a fantastic pool and even a casino, you don’t need to leave, but if you do the hotel is just a short cab-ride to the Byward Market, Parliament and exceptional restaurants and entertainment.
5. Lots of fun – and it benefits charity

It’s a win-win. Our Reception and Tradeshow not only feature our exceptional group of exhibitors and poster presenters but will also benefit our Conference Charity – Reach Haiti. Enjoy Haitian-themed food and music while you battle it out for our silent auction items (including an Apple i-Pad Mini), network and enjoy an evening with new and old friends and colleagues, ready to explore some fun games using your smart tablet and QR codes.
