CWWA’s National Water and Wastewater Conference is quickly becoming an industry landmark, offering a unique technical program that combines the latest in water and wastewater research, technical papers on utility processes, water and wastewater regulation and the latest in utility management including the challenges of lead in drinking water, asset management and filling human resource gaps.

Because of our unique program our delegates come from a diverse range of companies and organizations, allowing some of the most valuable networking opportunities in our industry.

One of the best ways to secure your place at the event, add value for your company or promote your research is to make a presentation. There are lots of great reasons to present:

Share your expertise with others. We all benefit from sharing knowledge and experience, and you might be surprised by the collaborations and ideas that result!
bullet Ensure your place at the event – the best way to ensure your attendance is to present. Showcasing the great work you and your team are doing is not only a great way to share your experience and knowledge but also a great way to justify attending the Event. Travel budgets are getting tighter and presenting at a Conference makes it easier to justify the expense of attendance.
bullet Build relationships: Presenters are able to engage like-minded users from across the country and expand their professional networks all in one sweep.
bullet Build new collaborations: Presenting will provide valuable feedback on your research, it will also put your research into a broader prospective – see how it correlates with other research across the country, and more importantly connect with water and wastewater utility managers who will be applying your research.

In 2017 we’re excited to be hosting the Conference in St. John’s, Newfoundland – an incredible destination that is worth exploring, making it even more excited to be front and center at the Conference. We’ve recently updated the webpage to include information on our Conference hotel, so you can start planning your stay, and secure the excellent rates we’ve secured for our delegates.

All the information you need to submit a presentation proposal is available from our website – the new extended deadline is April 19, so be sure to get it in early!
