As such, the Institute is a proud supporter of the Actuarial Students National Association convention, and this year’s event was a great success. An article in the last (e)Bulletin highlighted the latest project by the Actuarial Foundation of Canada. Here we look at the organization’s overall activities.
 
A high-profile advert is about to promote actuaries’ expertise on the healthcare system to thousands of Canada’s politicians and leading decision-makers.
 
This feature in the (e)Bulletin gives members an opportunity to tell their peers about themselves via the answers to 10 straightforward and fun questions. The questionnaire is a way of temporarily turning the focus away from the day-to-day work of actuarial science and more towards the people who make up the profession.
