PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
It’s April and right in the swing of spring. Living in California I can only hope that the old adage, April showers... is true, because we could sure use the rain! For many of you, you haven’t seen much of a change from winter, but hopefully spring will be in your hometown very soon!
We just finished March Madness and I must send out Congratulations to Duke. While my alma mater didn’t make it into the tournament, I can cheer on a fellow Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) team and say that I enjoyed some great and exciting games in the tournament. Now onto the spring pastime, baseball, whose season opened this week.
There is so much going on in our profession these days that it is hard to keep up with all of the changes! Thankfully we can keep abreast of many of the changes that affect us in health care human resources through ASHHRA. I hope you take advantage of all that the association has to offer to you.
As I spoke about last month, spring is the season of renewal. It’s the time to clean out our closets and make room for the new. I hope you will take time to renew yourself, including your ASHHRA membership, and make plans to join us in September in Orlando for the ASHHRA Annual Conference. Happy Spring!
