As I reflect on all the things for which I am thankful, I am reminded of all the special professional relationships I have had the privilege to develop through my ASHHRA membership. I am also thankful for the incredibly hardworking ASHHRA staff that makes membership a special experience.

The ASHHRA Board was so pleased to have the Certified in Healthcare Human Resources (CHHR) project come to life at the annual conference. The work on the CHHR exam and certification started over five years ago. We were thrilled with the turnout of those who participated in the inaugural CHHR exam. Members who sat for the exam at the annual conference are in the process of being notified of their results. There were over 50 members who participated. If you missed the opportunity to sit for the certification, there will be other opportunities available in the coming months at H&R Block locations. Watch for more information from ASHHRA on future dates to take the exam electronically at a location near you.

I want to take a moment to recognize our colleagues who will be celebrating Hanukkah, which falls during Thanksgiving this year. We have so many opportunities to give thanks for our many blessings as we continue the journey to the possibility for inclusion for all.
