The benefits of mentoring throughout various career stages has been the basis of many great debates. With the transition to a coaching leadership style, many individuals believe that this removes the need for promoting the benefits of mentor programs or seeking out a career mentor. After disappointing job growth in May, the U.S. economy got a much-needed boost in June, adding 287,000 jobs, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ most recent employment report—and far surpassing economists’ expectations of between 175,000 and 180,000 jobs.
