The Director is responsible for providing strategic and operational direction related to all areas of Talent Management for Fletcher Allen. He or she is charged with the design, development, and implementation of comprehensive, innovative Talent Management programs and services for the organization.

To function as an integrated member of a department’s business operation by providing comprehensive human resource consultation with the purpose of maximizing the effectiveness of business and human resource processes that drive a high performance culture. Works collaboratively with designated partners to incorporate HR expertise to support and maximize departmental performance. Articulates an understanding of the department’s business goals, strengths and opportunities. Observes and analyzes process designs, identifying barriers to successful outcomes.

The Associate Administrator, Human Resources is responsible for all facets of human resources at the hospital. Responsibilities include but not limited to: development and administration of human resource policies, programs and practices, benefits, compensation, employee relations and performance management for the staff and management of USC Verdugo Hills Hospital. The Associate Administrator, Human Resources provides leadership in key business and planning processes to support the growth and development of the organization as a dynamic, effective hospital in line with the strategic plan of the clinical enterprise.

Responsible for collaborating with the Charge Nurse, Nurse Manager and other Perioperative leaders in managing, planning, organizing and facilitating the effective and efficient clinical day to day operations for the leadership of each surgical specialty area for the main operating room and throughout the continuum of care using good critical thinking skills. The Team Leader will serve as a role model by providing leadership, which fosters positive attitudes and change, as well as supports Department and System Policies and procedures.

Work in a collaborative team environment to deliver quality service and care to our newborn patients. Provide direct patient care through compassion, excellence and efficiency. Collaborate with other disciplines to achieve overall healthcare goals. Provide total patient care including assessment, planning, implementation of basic nursing skills and unit specific skills needed to care for critically ill neonates.

This position will collaborate with the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) regarding the daily clinical leadership and operations for the unit. The Clinical Director for CICU must possess exceptional customer service skills and foster positive physician relationships. The CICU leader serves as a staff role model by providing leadership that encourages teambuilding, communication, positive attitudes and change. 

The Chief Nursing Officer will advance evidence-based nursing standards, ensure a professional and high performing work environment, promote team building and interdisciplinary collaboration and enhance patient satisfaction. Reporting to the hospital CEO and CNO of HSHS Midwest, the Chief Nursing Officer will serve as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team. S/he will foster communication with medical staff and departments across the organization and ensure effective integration of HSHS mission, vision, and goals into nursing services and care delivery of St. Francis Hospital.

The Director of Emergency Department will supervise approximately 75 FTEs in this Level II Trauma Center, providing care to over 38,000 patients annually. The Director reports to the Chief Nursing Officer and will have the opportunity and expectation to create a new vision for emergency services.

Directs and manages the Infection Control Program for Borgess Medical Center and acts as a resource to Borgess Health. Manages infection control activities based on the infection control Statement of Authority. Provides consultative professional recommendations for infection control policy and procedures. Responsible for the planning of infection risk reduction through assessment, surveillance, control and prevention of infection activities according to all applicable state and federal regulatory agencies. The Infection Prevention and Control Manager acts as the hospitals infection control officer.

Reporting to the President & Chief Operating Officer, the Director of Surgical Services will be responsible for management functions of planning, organizing, staff budgeting, and directing Surgical Services in order to ensure that quality patient care is provided in accordance with system/ institution’s mission and objectives. The Director ensures that the daily activities, policies, procedures, and budget are implemented and accomplished.  This individual will also be responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the Core Values of the Mount Carmel Health System. A Bachelors of Nursing degree and a Masters degree in Nursing or related field is required.
