The Administrator, Human Resources Business Partnerships is an experienced professional reporting to the Vidant Health CHRO and serving as a member of the Vidant Health HR Leadership Team. Reporting to the Administrative Director of Perioperative Services, the Patient Care Manager (PCM) is responsible for providing leadership, management, and strategic planning to support our various clinical services to include cardiothoracic, orthopedics, transplantation, and neurosurgery. Our state-of-the-art surgical facility was designed specifically for children, which includes seven (7) operating and three (3) procedure rooms. 

The Director of Surgical Services plans, directs and supervises all functions and activities reporting to him/her. Interprets and implements policies, procedures, standards and regulations to staff, patients, medical staff and public. Exerts leadership in assisting the staff to make decisions and coordinate the overall activities. Responsible for staffing and, if the need arises, may function as staff nurse. Demonstrates commitment to patient and employee engagement and shared decision making. Will be accountable for creating and sustaining an environment of safety for employees, patients and visitors.
